Hall of Famer Robin Roberts enjoyed one of his best seasons in 1953. He led the Major Leagues in innings pitched (346.2), starts (41), and complete games (33). He also topped the National League with 198 strikeouts and was selected to his fourth consecutive MLB All-Star Game.
