There are some great player shots on this ’71 Giants postcard. I won’t say that contributed to them winning the NL West that season, but it didn’t hurt.
Shown here are Ken Henderson, Bobby Bonds, Dick Dietz, Gaylord Perry, Juan Marichal, Willie Mays, and Willie McCovey. That group includes four future Hall of Famers — not too shabby. If anyone can ID the Cardinal in box 2, please drop a comment!
