The Oklahoma City Plainsmen were a professional American football team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They began play in 1967 as a member of the Professional Football League of America and became a franchise in the Continental Football League when it merged with the PFLA in 1968. The team forfeited its last game of the 1968 season and was suspended by the league in December.
