The October ’92 issue of Beckett Focus on Future Stars features the late Browning Nagle. Nagle, who as Louisville Cardinals QB was the MVP of 1991 Fiesta Bowl, was in his 2nd year with the New York Jets. That was the pinnacle of his pro career.
Nagle was named the starter due to Ken O’Brien holding out. He started 13 games that year, won just 3, and finished with a 55.7 QBR. He played just a handful of games over the subsequent few years with the Jets, Colts, and Falcons.
