The 2010–11 NBA season was the 65th season of the National Basketball Association. The season concluded with the Dallas Mavericks defeating the Miami Heat, 4 games to 2, to win their first NBA title. Dirk Nowitzki was named Finals MVP and Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls was named the 2010-11 NBA MVP.
