LeBaron Ward Coakley (December 5, 1901-February 19, 1961) designed program covers for the Washington Redskins in the 1950s and '60s. A veteran of World War I, Coakley was a member of the Art Directors Club of Washington and the American Newspaper Guild. For seven years he was art director of the Richmond News Leader.
