The 1970 MLB season ended when the Baltimore Orioles defeated the Cincinnati Reds four games to one in the World Series.
The Seattle Pilots relocated to Wisconsin and became the Milwaukee Brewers, thus returning Major League Baseball to Wisconsin for the first time since the relocation of the Milwaukee Braves to Atlanta following the 1965 season.
