The 1960 NFL season was the 41st regular season of the National Football League. For the first time since the collapse of the All-America Football Conference in 1949 the league faced a rival league when the American Football League began play in 1960. The season ended with the Philadelphia Eagles beating the Green Bay Packers in the NFL Championship Game.
