The 1961 CFL season was the eighth season in modern Canadian professional football, although officially it was the fourth season of the Canadian Football League. The season ended with the 49th Grey Cup, the league's championship game, which was won by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
