Zang Auerbach (1921-2003) was an artist and editorial and sports cartoonist who worked for The Washington Post, the Evening Star and the Washington Times-Herald. He was the brother of Boston Celtics legend Red Auerbach. Among his contributions to sports design were the Boston Celtics logo and the final logo of the Washington Senators before they became the Minnesota Twins.
