Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club is a professional association football club based in Dagenham, England. Often known simply as Dagenham and abbreviated when written to Dag & Red, they are nicknamed the Daggers. The club was formed in 1992 through a merger of Dagenham and Redbridge Forest, the latter merged from Ilford, Leytonstone and Walthamstow Avenue. The club's traditional colors are red and blue, to represent the merged teams.
