The Cleveland Indians are an American professional baseball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Indians compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) Central division. On July 23, 2021 the team announced they would be changing their name to the Cleveland Guardians for the 2022 MLB season.
