The Los Angeles Dons were an American football team in the All-America Football Conference. The Dons played their home games in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. They were the first professional football team to play a regular-season game in Los Angeles, two weeks before the first game of the rival Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League.
When the AAFC merged with the NFL after the 1949 season the Dons did not become part of the NFL.
