Although the Western Hockey League’s San Diego Gulls got bounced in the first round of the 1968 WHL playoffs, they still enjoyed a very successful year. This was particularly true from an attendance standpoint, as the May-June issue of “The Gull-o-Gram” trumpeted.
The Gulls also provided a writeup for that season’s WHL all-stars — Len Ronson, Gordy Sinclair, Jack Evans, and Fred Hilts.
