It’s gone by a few different names since it opened on April 19, 1966, but the venue currently known as Angel Stadium spent three decades as Anaheim Stadium. Here’s a fantastic unused postcard from not long after it opened.
While it was brand-new in this picture the Big A is currently the fourth-oldest stadium in Major League Baseball. Several teams have called it home over the decades but it is primarily the home field of the Los Angeles Angels these days.
