The California Angels had no shortage of outstanding scorebook magazine covers in the 1980s, but I have to say that this one is easily the most memorable. It’s hilarious and at the same time the type of cover you’ll probably never see again. Here then is a very special issue of Halo from 1988, my inaugural inductee into the SportsPaper Hall of Fame:
