From the penultimate season of the All-America Football Conference comes this clean, to-the-point schedule for the New York Yankees, soon to merge with the AAFC’s Brooklyn Dodgers.
New York finished the 1948 season with a 6-8 record. The league folded after the 1949 season although three teams were brought into the NFL (Browns, 49ers, and Colts). The merged New York-Brooklyn Yankees are therefore consigned to a small piece of American football history.
