Eagles vs. 49ers Playoff Flashback, 1996 Style

Despite being in the NFL together since 1950, the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers are meeting in the playoffs for just the second time ever this weekend.

The first time occurred during the Wild Card round of the 1996-97 NFL playoffs. In rainy, muddy, and blustery conditions the 49ers had the game’s only two scores en route to a 14-0 win.
