2020 has been an unprecedented year in the world of sports, and English Football is no exception. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, League Two made the decision in April to suspend its 2019-20 season. On May 15 the season was ended outright.
The effect of this was to freeze the league table and automatically promote the top 3 clubs. Playoffs to determine the fourth club to earn promotion to League One were held in June. Altogether the following four clubs earned the right to play in League One next season: Swindon Town, Crewe Alexandra, Plymouth Argyle, and Northampton Town.
To celebrate the occasion here is a gallery of program covers for each of these four teams, from the last season they were in League One.
